Each year HBO sponsors many film festival and events throughout the country and Mox Media manages and executes HBO sponsorship of four key film festivals throughout the year; The Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, The Provincetown International Film Festival, Outfest and Fusion in Hollywood, CA.

In 2007, HBO and Mox Media  launched Shout: The HBO GLBT Short Film Competition.  In December 2006, over 600 filmmakers from our participating festivals received exclusive invitations from HBO to enter five (5) minute short film scripts into this competition.  Four (4) winners were selected to receive a cash award of $15,000 to produce their short film. 

After a successful first-run, HBO has partnered with Mox Media as well as the participating film festvials to present the second installment of Shout: The HBO GLBT Short Film Competition. Working alonside three recipients of the $15,000 production award, our winners are currently creating their final films to be premiered to the world at the Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival on May 2nd 2008.
